He retired from the army and are headed to the south to be close to the rest of their family. After 20+ years of service, they were ready to head home. They bought this home sight unseen during covid, and didn't have a ton of room on the price to break even. They had a number in their head of what they would feel good about selling for, but the comparables for such a big house with an unfinished basement were not what we hoped for.
