We all know that Colorado is becoming a hotspot to move, and Colorado Springs is becoming even more popular each year as a highly sought after city to live, work, and play in. And we’re proud of that fact: Colorado Springs is an amazing city that is starting to be recognized as a trend-setting place—just like Denver, Vail, Boulder, etc.
So as the real estate market continues to boom in Colorado Springs, then, people who move into other places in the state are starting to take note. We’re having more and more people from Denver moving down here and wanting to buy in our area. As people become tired of the big city, they are looking to move to other areas of the state that offer some release from traffic congestion, house market spikes, crowded populations, etc.
With that being said, it’s really important as someone who is selling your home in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region to make sure that your real estate agent is marketing your home in the Denver market as well as locally. That means making sure your real estate agent is a member of the Denver MLS (which, for those of you not in the real estate world, is a huge listing service for homes that real estate companies use). If your real estate agent is not a member of the Denver MLS, your home may be missing out on those key markets just outside of our region.
