Do you love animals, brews, and the outdoors? Then Colorado Springs’ upcoming event Pawtoberfest is going to be a favorite memory for you and the entire family. It’s happening tomorrow, September 16th, from 10am-3pm—so go and check out this amazing fall festival.
Pawtoberfest consists of several different components. One really cool part of the event is a 2-mile dog walk that welcomes humans and dogs of all levels and ages to participate. Then there will be a festival with over 75 sponsors and vendors. During the festival, there will be a craft brews and spirits tasting, pet contests, live music, agility demonstrations, and amazing food trucks.
Pawtoberfest was founded in 2009, so it’s become a stable in our community over the past 8 years, and it continues to grow every year. Its mission is to bring together animal lovers to help support the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. The Humane Society cares for thousands of abandoned animals each year, and their contribution to the community is vital. Anyone who loves the thought of giving an animal a second chance at happiness will love coming out to this event, because they will be supporting an amazing local organization and all of the lost animals that it helps serve.
